I have walked through quite a journey this past year. The Lord has taught me so much.
I want to start with the fact that last year around this time I was praying and fasting, as I was praying and fasting seeking the Lord for a word, the Lord told me to eat meat (that I was fasting from) I ofcourse questioned him, and didn’t. I was trying to follow the suggestion of what to fast. (Never was it mandatory) it was indeed a suggested fast.
My heart deeply wanted to connect with the Lord and wanted directions for my life. So I prayed and fasted, well long story short while I was fasting I became weak. Which is expected. I thought the Lord said to eat my steaks and I decided to only cook it for my children. But when I cooked the meat the meat was spoiled.
Part of me wonders if it spoiled due to the fact that I chose not to eat it when I believe the Lord was telling me to eat it. He knew I was very weak and what I needed. But I chose to obey what I thought I “should do” instead of his leading.
This was the night of my major trials which lied ahead. Many of my own making.
There were many things that took place. Down to the fact that my health needed help and I needed to be admitted into the hospital.
We know that Jesus was tempted in the wilderness with the Word of God by Satan. Jesus resisted him with the Word of God.
Well, during my stay at the hospital I too felt like I was encountering false doctrines with scriptures from the Holy Bible by spiritual forces left and right. So much so that I thought I needed deliverance. In reality I believe I needed medical help because I physically needed nutrients and rest.
It happened so quickly and rapidly with so many spirits and false doctrines during my weakness I felt like my mind broke. Well, in a way it did.
Over this last year the Lord has been healing my mind and speaking to me about all the things I have faced and beginning to explain them to me slowly.
So here I go…
• 2 Corinthians 11:14: “And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” This means deception often looks attractive and trustworthy rather than scary or dark.
• Matthew 7:15–18: Jesus warns about “false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.”
• Matthew 24:24: Jesus says that false messiahs and false prophets will show great signs and wonders to deceive even strong believers if possible.
Twisting Scripture: It changes or misuses God’s word to fit human desires
“And when you fast, don’t make it obvious, as the hypocrites do, for they try to look miserable and disheveled so people will admire them for their fasting. I tell you the truth, that is the only reward they will ever get. But when you fast, comb your hair and wash your face.”
Matthew 6:16-17 NLT
This is where I went wrong I was fasting because others were, not because the Holy Spirit directed me to.
Next, the Lord taught me about this:
“Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.
💖Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.
“Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is! “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.
These verses about your eye being like a lamp that provides light to your body are right between the scriptures about money.
The testimony of some of what I walked thru and experienced in the spirit had to do with the fact that I was encountering a false light which was tied to the scriptures concerning fear of lack. It was tied to provision. You see,
I believe this is speaking of the evil eye.
Googles definition when googling “what does Matthew 6:23-24 mean” gives us a new age definition ⚠️ here it is:
The eye—singular—is the lamp of the body
. What Jesus calls the “eye” is the source of light, of energy. It is the power in which we place our faith. When we rely on the evidence of our senses—our double eyes of mortal sight—we are drawing from an energy of duality.
🌎The world wants us to think our “spiritual eye” is like the new age practices of the eye, and the evil eye, the one eye. The “eye that brings forth energy” I don’t think it’s ironic that the eye is on our dollar.
⚠️⚠️⚠️But that is NOT what Jesus is talking about! That IS new age! That is light that is ACTUALLY DARKNESS. It is witchcraft!⚠️⚠️⚠️
It’s false light! It’s FALSE teaching! It’s false prophecy.
We can’t rely on Google and AI and Gbt chat to understand the scriptures. This goes to show a perfect example of Googles definition leading people ASTRAY into false light. Which is what the scripture is actually saying!!! IF THAT LIGHT YOU THINK YOU HAVE IS ACTUALLY DARKNESS HOW DEEP THAT DARKNESS IS!!!
When you Google only “Matthew 6:23”, it says this:
“Matthew 6:23 states: “But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” This verse is part of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, specifically addressing spiritual vision, focus, and how a person perceives life and value
Verse Context and Meaning
The “Bad Eye”: Refers to an unhealthy or stingy spiritual outlook that misses God’s grace and generosity.
Body and Light: Jesus uses the eye as a metaphor for the heart’s orientation toward earthly wealth or heavenly priorities.
Surrounding Passage: It sits directly between teachings on storing treasures in heaven (v. 21) and the impossibility of serving two masters, God and money (v. 24). “
Context is SO VITAL. Context is what needs to be taught. This is also why I asked my husband and he said to me its talking about FALSE light false teaching. The teachings of universalism. It’s NOT true. Without context people’s minds are deceived especially when they rely on Google as their helper. Thank the Lord I have the Holy Spirit and I know the Word of God, and I have a husband who helps me better understand the word. (Wives this is also why asking our husbands what the scripture means matters as well as our pastors). This is why I felt in my spirit so heavily the importance on scripture teaching verse by verse and chapter by chapter. I felt in my spirit the need I had for context teaching not just prophetic teaching. Prophetic teaching is confusing and makes everyone leave feeling good in their wrong thoughts and ideologies!
The enemy will use everything and anything to bring deception. God will use his WORD and HIS Spirit to unction us when something isn’t right. Everything we believe must be held tightly to the Word of God. For it is our foundation for living. But what happens to those who are holding these wrong beliefs with the word of God?
Their are many that are being deceived because of lack of understanding.
This is vital. Yes we want to share the gospel to advance the kingdom, but that goes beyond just Jesus is Lord, ● advancing the gospel is giving substance, giving the growing believer meat not just milk. Ofcourse when they’re ready for it! But many new believers are hungry for the word so they read it on their own and Google things. Google is leading people astray. It is a helpful tool ofcourse, I use it often. However, it can be dangerous to the new believers. Especially when the Spirit of confusion is in operation. A spirit can be in operation against you and not be in you. However, what you turn your mind over to long enough will take root.
The very NEXT verse says this:
Matthew 6:24 NLT
[24] “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.
Now we understand we live in a world where there is darkness. We understand that we use money as a tool to get what we need and to advance the kingdom. Money in itself is a tool. Jesus says give to ceaser what belongs to ceaser. It has his name on it give it to him. Use it as a tool yes. However, we can”t love it or chase it. Money has a singular eye on it. Often used in new age practices. Often used in other cultures. It’s not of God. It is indeed false light. It is indeed false teaching. You can’t love money and you can’t love false light and false teachings.
“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? “And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”

This is what I believe these verses are speaking of.
You see what I encountered in the spirit was witchcraft. An evil eye. It’s basically tied to money. It’s new age and it’s demonic. It seems good and not scary thats the SCARY thing about it. It tries to convince you that if you do enough, are enough, love enough, you will eventually achieve whatever it is your pursuing (even good things like ministry!!!!) It’s basically white magic. It’s witchcraft.
You see money is a tool that in the right hands can advance the kingdom of God when stewarded correctly.
But in the wrong hands it basically turns peoples light to the evil eye which is rooted in the love of money.
Let’s see how I can explain this better.
The evil eye wants us to believe that Satan Rules. He doesn’t, Jesus reigns. For the believer, we are free from the penalty of sin and we will no longer live in sin that leads to death. For the believer, we see money as a tool to steward to advance the kingdom. As a believer, we see that money comes from Jevhovah Jireh our provider with willing hands to work and steward.
But when we focus and stress money we then begin to turn to a love for it. It opens our minds to darkness. It becomes our master. It dictates our decisions. It becomes our motivator and we begin to strive! Fear of failure, fear of loss, FEAR and anxiety rules our decisions. We are to do our best but we can rest in the assurance of our salvation through grace. We don’t have to be perfect. We long to be perfected in Christ. But we ought to rest in Him if we are opporating in the right light.
You see, we may think we have light and have been “enlightened” but that light is actually darkness. That light is false. This same light was trying to tell me that Jesus had already come. That is a lie. He hasn’t returned yet because when he does, there will be NO more suffering, no more pain, there will be no more earth. It will burn up and we will reign as heirs on the new earth God creates. Not the current one full of darkness!!!!
The lie i faced was this;
Preterism.
Their belief is this;
Luke 21:32 states, “Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all has taken place”, and the theological framework that interprets these fulfilled prophecies as already having occurred is known as Preterism.
It’s antichrist. It’s made its way into the churches, and let me tell you, there are people who are under the opporation of it that say they believe in Jesus. But even Satan believes in Him. A lot of False Doctrines believe in him. Can they say he is personally Lord of their life?
This is what the Lord told me to start asking, is Jesus Lord of your life? Do you believe he died and rose again? Do you believe he has yet to return?
And many will even say Lord Lord I did all of these things in your name and he will say He never knew them!
Scripture warns us again and again of these false teachings!
Its FAITH that moves mountains not positive thoughts.
Its FAITH and TRUST in the One true God!
But we must have to have faith in the One true Christ not some Bar Jesus who was a sorcerer!!!!!
“Then the angel said to me, “Everything you have heard and seen is trustworthy and true. The Lord God, who inspires his prophets, has sent his angel to tell his servants what will happen soon.” “Look, I am coming soon! Blessed are those who obey the words of prophecy written in this book. ””
Revelation 22:6-7 NLT
“I want you to remember what the holy prophets said long ago and what our Lord and Savior commanded through your apostles. Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. They will say, “What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.” They deliberately forget that God made the heavens long ago by the word of his command, and he brought the earth out from the water and surrounded it with water. Then he used the water to destroy the ancient world with a mighty flood. And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment, when ungodly people will be destroyed. But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. 💓But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world filled with God’s righteousness.

And remember, our Lord’s patience gives people time to be saved. This is what our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you with the wisdom God gave him— speaking of these things in all of his letters.
⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ Some of his comments are hard to understand, and those who are ignorant and unstable have twisted his letters to mean something quite different, just as they do with other parts of Scripture. And this will result in their destruction. ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.””
Revelation 21:3-4 NLT
There will be NO more death! No more pain! No more crying! When Jesus returns!
As long as there is death, suffering, crying, and pain, in this world, HE HAS NOT RETURNED YET!
There is false teachings going around, an AntiChrist Spirit influencing people to believe that he has already returned.
He has NOT returned yet.
There will be a loud Trumpet sounding when he returns and He will come down on a cloud!
Many will come saying they are christ and they will even perform miracles. But do not follow it!
